Earthquake rattles Japan and Mexico

TOKYO, KOMPAS.com-Two-magnitude earthquake was happening in Japan and Mexico, Sunday (12/11/2011) this morning. Not yet known damage caused by these two earthquakes.

Earthquakes in Japan recorded bermagnitud 5.8 occurred at 10:22 local time (08:22 GMT) in Kagoshima Prefecture, about 1,300 kilometers southwest of Tokyo. According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter located at a depth of 28 km. Japan's Meteorological Agency said there was no danger of tsunami from the quake.

While in Mexico, bermagnitud 6.7 earthquake occurred at 19:47 o'clock Saturday night local time, or 8:47 o'clock pm this Sunday. The quake occurred in the State of Guerrero, southwestern Mexico, the epicenter within 35 km from the city of Teloloapan, Guerrero, Mexico, at a depth of 64.9 km.
